My New Table Runner

A while back I shared my orange/teal/ mustard line and had said I might just keep the table runner for myself.....

And I did!
I added some clearance candle holders from Target.

They have a slight teal tinge to them that just compliments the table runner so well.

Guess I'm going to have to make another one for my Etsy store....coming soon in Septemberish....

The Perfect Gift for a Teacher

Teachers are busy.

 They have to be organized.

You can help!

Make them smile each time they check the time. Remind them someone out there appreciates all their hard work and wants them to feel that all day long! In such a stylish way too.

You are so good to kill two birds with one stone like that. Well done!

With 6 designs to choose from and personalize, you will find something for every teacher you know!

They are $12.99 and ship for $4.99 for up to 14 clocks!

Can you even imagine how much the teachers in your life will love these? Is there anything better than a personalized, functional gift? Your kid will be the favorite for sure!

A Sneak Peek at my Orange and Teal Collection

Here's a sneak peek at my Orange and Teal Collection.

I made a variety of pillow covers ranging in size from 12 x 12 to 18 x 18.

I not only made tea towels but also a thicker kitchen towel

I also made this fun pillow cover using white denim and coordinating fabrics to make the bunting.

The table runner is reversible. One side has more of the orange and teal and the other side has more of the teal and mustard colors.

However, I think I'm going to keep the table runner for myself!

These should be available in my Etsy Shop in September.

Sneak Peek....Baby Line

Here is a sneak peek at  my baby line that I worked on over the summer. It will be listed in my Etsy Shop, hopefully by September.

I tried to find ways to personalize the burp cloths. I hand appliqued an initial and a flower on these two.

Here's all of the different fabrics I used.

I tried to mix it up a little, going from very vintage looking fabrics all the way to Dr. Seuss.

I really love this Michael Miller fabric with the dears. I'd actually been holding onto this one in the hopes that I'd use it with our next baby. But since that isn't happening, I'm finally ready to let this fabric go. It's one of my faves!

If you couldn't tell, I made a baby blanket, bib and either 2 or 3 burp cloths to "complete" my baby line.

And one lucky winner will be able to win a set of their choice. Stay tuned for details!

My Final Organizational Area- My Closet

I still have a few small organizational projects but my last big one was my closet.
Here's the before pic.....

You may not think it looks too bad at first glance. But I needed to go through all of my clothes and shoes and purge what I no longer wear.

I've also had a really weird goal for a long time...matching hangers. I'm tired of having the department store hangers and different colored ones from the store. I've actually been working on that for about 2 years. I just bought a pack or 2 of hangers (I chose a classic white) every now and then.

And here is the after....I finally have my matching hangers.

I purged what I no longer want/need.

I am kinda nerdy when it comes to closet organization. I organize clothes by type and then by color. So for example, I have all of my dresses together in rainbow order (with neutrals at the end). I have all of my skirts together. Pants together.

Shirts together (teacher work shirts at the front).
Sweatshirts together. Then I have super casual/grungy/wear around the house shirts together.

Here are my shoes. Easily stackable, easy to see what pair of shoes is inside and the containers contain any odors.

And that's it y'all! I'm finally organized for the upcoming school year! Yea!!!!!
