Fall Tree

I'm so thankful for these cooler temps and the beginnings of Fall. I love Fall and I love making Fall décor.

Introducing my Fall tree.

Here's what I started with. I bought it here at Scrapbook.com. It's made by Kaiser Kraft. It's on clearance now for under $10.

It's 3 different pieces. I started by painting them all with brown acrylic paint.

Then I used a hexagon punch by Friskars to punch out hexagons from various orange and Fallish scrapbook papers.I glued them down with Zip Dry starting from the middle.

Then I put a layer of modge podge on the top of all pieces. To be honest, I think that using Zip Dry helped reduce wrinkling.

Come on Fall! Being in Texas makes me even more anxious for your arrival.
